Updated Information

As we are seeing a large amount of traffic at the landfill, I want to remind everyone that safety is a major concern of ours.  Please, drive slow, follow signage and wait for those in front of you to finish before crowding in to empty your load.

Also, please please please, do not dump stuff where it does not belong, for example the wood piles are marked and signed that NO PAINTED or Stained wood, yet people still throw it in.  Also, plastic does not go in the metal pile.

We have regulations to follow as well as have to meet our waste handlers requirements, so there are reasons for these rules.  All you are doing is increasing more work to staff, as well as increasing safety concerns, plus decreasing any chance of us getting any revenue from materials such as metal.

If you are not sure what to do or where to go, ASK.

Thank you for your cooperation.  Tom

Due to the lack of market for glass and the low volumes we are receiving, I have had to make the decision to no longer accept glass in the recycle facility.  We ask that you put the glass in one of the blue transfer bins located just east of the recycle facility.  We are also concerned about staff safety in handling the glass.  Thank you for your understanding in this.
